We are and have been the number 1 hotel in Del Rio, Texas since we re-opened. We strongly suggest you go to Tripadvisor and check out our reviews and other Del Rio, TX hotels. This motel is clean and safe. The lobby has an eclectic vibe. The beds could be comfier but they're fine. It's not a five star hotel but definitely the best thing you're going to find for miles. Breakfast has Texas shaped waffles, yogurt, many cereals, fruit and prepackaged cake-like foods. They also have coffee & water. If I had to stay in del Rio again I would stay here.
This week, 2023, I was riding solo and wanted to make reservations. I saw the reviews for "Whispering Palms" and booked one night. Once I arrived, I realized this was the place we had stayed at on our last trip a few years ago through Del Rio. It's clean, the staff was friendly. The free breakfast was nothing to write home about but it hit the spot.
